• When will my order ship?
  Most orders ship within 1 to 2 business days from our Maine studio. Once your order is on the way, you’ll receive tracking information by email.

• Can I pick up my order locally?
  Yes. Local pickup is available in Newcastle, Maine. Simply choose Local Pickup at checkout, and we’ll email you when your order is ready.

• Can I return or exchange my order?
  We accept eligible returns within 15 days of purchase for exchange or store credit. Because our pieces are made in small batches, we are not able to offer cash refunds. To be eligible, items must be returned clean, unused, and in undamaged condition. Shipping costs are nonrefundable, and customers are responsible for return shipping. See below for more details.

• How do I start a return?
  To begin a return, please email Katrina@AmphitriteStudio.com with your order number. Once your return is approved, repackage the item and send it back using a tracked shipping method such as USPS. After your return is received, please allow 3 to 5 business days for processing. Once processed, we will either ship your exchange at no additional charge or send you a store credit code for a future purchase.

• Is there a processing fee for returns?
  Because payment processing and transaction fees apply to every order, a small processing fee may be deducted when applicable.

• Do you offer custom sizes or special colors?
  We do our best to accommodate custom requests whenever possible. If you have something specific in mind, reach out and we’ll let you know what is available based on fabric supply and production timing.

• How should I wash and care for my linens?
  Our linens are made to be used and loved every day. We recommend machine washing in cool water on a gentle cycle with like colors and a mild detergent. Avoid bleach or harsh cleaners, as they can weaken natural fibers over time.

  For drying, tumble dry on low or hang to dry for a more natural finish. If needed, iron on a hot setting while the fabric is still slightly damp to smooth wrinkles. Linen may wrinkle naturally, and that relaxed texture is part of its charm. With each wash, it becomes softer and more beautiful over time. Care instructions are also included with your order, and additional details may be listed on each product page.

• Does linen shrink after washing?
  Linen may shrink slightly, especially if exposed to hot water and high heat. To help preserve the shape and feel of your linens, we recommend washing in cool water and drying on low heat or air drying whenever possible. We do preshrink all of our fabric with warm water before sewing, which helps minimize additional shrinkage.

• Does linen wrinkle easily?
  Yes, linen naturally wrinkles more than some other fabrics, and that relaxed texture is part of its charm. For a smoother finish, remove your linens promptly from the dryer or press lightly while still damp.

• Will linen get softer over time?
  Yes. One of the best things about linen is that it softens beautifully with use and washing while still staying strong and durable.

• Is linen good for everyday use?
  Yes. Linen is breathable, durable, and made to be lived with. It works beautifully for everyday routines while bringing a relaxed, timeless look to the home.

• Is linen better than cotton?
  Both linen and cotton have their strengths, but linen is especially loved for its durability, breathability, and natural texture. Many people choose linen when they want something long lasting, easy to live with, and beautiful in a simple, effortless way.

• Is linen worth the price?
  Many customers feel that it is. Linen is known for its durability, timeless appeal, and the way it improves with age, making it a fabric people often return to again and again.

• Are your linens prewashed?
  Yes. We wash all of our fabric and finished goods twice before they are packed up to live with you. This helps settle the stitching and fabric into their finished form, whether it is a napkin, apron, or another everyday piece. We want you to open your linens and use them right away with confidence.

• How should I store my linens between uses?
  Store your linens in a cool, dry place with plenty of airflow. Avoid storing them in plastic containers for long periods, as natural fibers do best when they can breathe.

• Do you offer gift wrapping?
  Yes. Complimentary gift wrapping is available, and we’re happy to include a handwritten note if you leave your message at checkout.
